Privacy policy

Tasker (“we”, “us”) hosts cheat sheets and calculators written by its members at tasker.ninja and its topic sites, such as meds.tasker.ninja. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign in. We use it only to send sign-in links and, rarely, messages about your account or content. It is never shown to other people.
- Your display name and what you publish. Sheets, calculators, their past versions, and the name you choose are public. Votes are counted publicly but not shown by name. Reports you send are seen only by moderators.
- Sign-in records. When you ask for a sign-in link we store a scrambled form of the link, your email address and your IP address for up to 24 hours, to stop abuse.
- Server logs. Our web server records each request: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser user agent. We use these to keep the site running and secure, and delete them after about 14 days.
- Drug searches on meds.tasker.ninja. The drug name you type is sent from our server to the FDA’s openFDA service to fetch the label. Your IP address is not passed on. Results are kept in memory for up to 24 hours and are not linked to you.
- Analytics, only if you allow it. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google receives information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and how you arrived. If you reject, or never choose, Google Analytics is not loaded.

How we use it
To run the site, sign you in, show your content, prevent abuse, moderate, and understand which pages help people. We don’t sell or rent personal information, we don’t use it for advertising, and we share it only with the service providers named here or where the law requires.
Service providers
- Our server host, in the United States, stores the site and its database.
- An email delivery provider sends sign-in links on our behalf.
- Google Analytics, only with your consent. Advertising features and ad personalization are off. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
How long we keep it
Account details and published content are kept until you delete them or your account. Sign-in records are deleted within 24 hours and server logs within about 14 days. Database backups are overwritten within 14 days.
Your choices and rights
- Edit or delete any sheet you published, change your display name, or delete your account and everything you published, from Settings.
- Reject or withdraw analytics consent with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it’s used. Contact us below and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
You must be at least 13 to create an account. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we delete it if we learn we have.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Sign-in links and session identifiers are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For significant changes we’ll show a notice on the site.
